"Our Audience"

Our Inspiring Alliance web site provides services for two audiences. We provide one-to-one services to military service members who have sustained severe combat-related injuries while serving in Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom – our “wounded Warriors”. That audience include individuals with seriously debilitating burns, amputations, spinal cord injuries, visual impairments, traumatic brain injuries and severe post-traumatic stress disorder. Consultation services are provided to each of our clients at no cost, and support links for injured service members are found on our Wounded Warrior Links landing page..

Our other audience is the military serviceperson, active or retired, who may also be in need of some form of transitional assistance for medical, financial, education or employment support. Those programs are located on our Military Support Links landing page. As the foundation for our Wounded Warrior program was being built we found hundreds of valid programs that support military families scattered across the Internet, some even buried within recessed pages of dozens of web sites. It was obvious that one location needed to be established to provide a central location for this network of support – that is how Inspiring Alliance was borne.

We differ from sites such as America Supports You because we don’t repeat support links from one landing page to another, and we mirror our activity after the United Way organization. Inspiring Alliance confirms validity of a program before we host it on our site, and we connect military service members to that established program once a specific need is identified.

Some of these support programs are offered through federal or state agencies - other programs are supported by nonprofit organizations and private or corporate foundations. We have formed as many strategic partnerships with these organizations as possible - others we simply find value in the support they extend to our soldiers and their loved ones, so we host a link to their programs through our web site.

Providing resources and support for our veterans and their families.
